Help to offer a platform for our members to discuss and/or participate in various intimate topics on parenting, marriage, health, education, finances, careers, and beauty. Sometimes we also invite experts to share helpful information.
The Social Media Committee is dedicated to helping develop and expand the social media space as a viable advertising platform. It is their responsibility for publicizing internal and external events and making sure the chapter is visible in the community so every mother of color who may benefit from being a part of Mocha Moms knows about the chapter. The Newsletter Committee is responsible for producing and publishing our chapter monthly newsletter. Each newsletter contains some regular features, including the Upcoming Events, Recap of the Support Meetings, Kids Corner, Motherly Lessons, Black Dallas History and More.
Better known as the Moms Fun Committee - The MNO crew is responsible for organizing monthly events that allow our Moms to get away from their families for a couple of hours, enjoy laughing and joking with other moms. Events include: Cooking Classes, Movie Nights, and Wine Tastings. Occasionally the team plans a Couple's Night Out. THIS COMMITTEE IS FULL.

Our chapter is only fantastic because of moms getting involved. Our committees help to broaden your horizons, give you a wider experience, have fun, meet new people, and enhance your skills. Each committee encompases as little or as much time as a Mocha Mom allows. After reviewing, reach out to the chapter president to get connected to a committee or two.
Helps to coordinate the following activities:
Year End Holiday Party
Each month we take our children on a fieldtrip to explore Dallas-Ft. Worth. From Blueberry picking in June to visiting the Stockyards in Fort Worth, the Playdate Committee ensures our Mocha families can play in the city all year long.
Membership Services Committee helps to welcome new members, organizes meal delivery for expecting mothers, and other forums of support such as completing errands that need to be ran, providing company while recovering, helping when a Mocha Mom has a serious family illness , death of a family member, etc.
Community Service Committee is responsible for organizing community projects for the chapter to enable our members to get involved by doing something positive for our community. These projects include partnerships that the National Chapter has formed:
